2. Hosting / server log files

This website is hosted by Hostinger. The provider is Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When you visit the website, Hostinger processes technically necessary data (including IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system) in order to deliver the website and ensure the security of its operation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of the website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Server log files are automatically deleted after a short period.

The server is located in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger, ensuring processing that is bound by our instructions and compliant with data protection law. No personal data is transferred to a third country outside the EU or the EEA for hosting purposes.

3. Free initial case review (form)

If you use the case review form, we process the data you provide: details of the allegation and the stage of the proceedings, your contact details (name, e-mail) and – if you upload a file or take a photo – the content of your hearing form (Anhörungsbogen) or fine notice (Bußgeldbescheid).

Purpose: processing your enquiry and preparing the free initial assessment by the law firm.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) and pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
Recipients: the law firm. The data is transmitted in encrypted form (TLS) to our server at Hostinger (see section 2) and from there by e-mail to the law firm; no external form service provider is used. You will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail acknowledging receipt.
Storage period: If no mandate is established, we delete your data at the latest six months after your enquiry has been concluded; if a mandate is established, the statutory retention obligations apply (§ 50 BRAO – German Federal Lawyers' Act: 6 years).

The information requested in the form is limited to what is necessary; the file upload and photo capture are voluntary. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future – informally, by e-mail to geblitzt@blitzerfux.de.

Digital power of attorney: If you complete and sign a power of attorney via the /vollmacht/ page, the PDF containing your details and your signature is generated in your browser, transmitted in encrypted form (TLS) to our server and sent by e-mail to the law firm as well as a copy to your e-mail address (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR – initiation and establishment of the mandate). The storage periods of this section apply; if a mandate is established, the statutory retention obligations apply (§ 50 BRAO).

4. Contact by e-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). Please note that unencrypted e-mails are not a confidential means of transmission.

5. Local storage in your browser

The case review form remembers your entries during the session in your browser's sessionStorage so that they are not lost if you accidentally reload the page. This data never leaves your browser and is automatically deleted when you close the tab and after submitting the form. No cookies are set.

6. Fonts and external content

All fonts are embedded locally ("self-hosted"). No connections to Google Fonts or other third-party providers are established when the page is loaded.

7. Your rights
